An update from Matt

I apologise to all for my late blog update but I have been caught up in the hustle and bustle of university life, from the course which is becoming more increasingly variant, from very boring to incredibly exciting to my still increasing social activities. Hockey still continues to take up much of my saturday with travelling to distant locations for matches or late pushbacks which mean a much needed lie in on sat morning, but as ever I am thoroughly enjoying the social and sport element of belonging to what is in my opinion the best sports society at UEA.

As for other social activities I have recently been elected social secretary of the UEA Revelation Rock Gospel Choir, a role to which I hope to take with much success. My musical output is still thriving through the Rock Gospel Choir, the UEA Jazz Choir and numerous open Microphone nights and house parties where a friend and I have performed numerous songs.

My Faith too continues to grow as does my involvement at Kings Church. I have recently been welcomed as a new member to the church family and have begun to undertake a role within their continually growing and developing youth work. I write to you following an awesome 18-30's weekend away organised by the Church, where there was a chance to get to know many of my peers better as well as some amazing ministry, worship and prayer.

Please Pray for:

- Strength in my beliefs as my philosophy modules become more difficult and begin to throw questions at my faith.

- A smooth transition into the pre-existing team of youth workers at Kings

- A smooth transition as the Youth work becomes more spiritually based and is tranformed into "Radiate"

- Continuued success of outreach events both on campus by the Christian Union and around the city by Kings Church
