It's the Final Countdown in Exeter

Nat has sent this update as she enters the last few weeks of her Theology degree at Exeter...

So far my final year has been a mix of emotions - we've had lots of fun times as it's a year of 21sts so plenty of parties to go. Friendships definitely strengthen year by year, so firstly I would like to thank God for the fact that I have been lucky and take away with me so many friends after uni. However, the work load has just been insane! I have very little time currently; there is a lovely long dissertation to write, many essays and presentations, so to be honest I am struggling with this at the moment. The sheer pressure of having so much to do and very little time is definately a challenge, coupled with a low immune system which doesn't exactly help! So prayer for de-stressing would be greatly received! It is also a strange time, because now real life is approaching. My friend worked out that we have 12 weeks until we have finished for good! The thought of what the future holds is scary! Leaving the friends we've made at uni, the daily routine, how used you get to Exeter and the coming and going back home.....we will have to adjust again to another stage in our lives. There are so many things to look forward to after uni however, and I'm really excited about the future even if it is a bit daunting.

  • Hi Nat

Stress seems to be the operative word these days - Linda is feeling exactly the same. Too much to do in too little time.

Don't forget you and all the other WAMers who have flown the nest are regularly in our prayers. I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours and then on to pastures new - scarey!

Look forward to seeing you again at Easter, hopefully a little less stressed. Is the dissertation in now or is that still hanging over you?

May you know God's peace Nat.

    Every blessing

    Christine and Andrew
